FINLAND – October. 30, 2017 – following a good tradition Myontec will have an outstanding presence at World Forum for Medicine – MEDICA, 13-16th of November 2017 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Myontec stand can be found at the WT | Wearable Technologies Pavilion N23 in hall 15, next to the MEDICA Connected Healthcare Forum.

On Monday 13th, 13:30 Myontec will be presenting at MEDICA Connected Healthcare Forum the use of EMG wearable in occupational health helping to reduce sick leaves and MSD (muscular skeletal disorders).

Myontec is the Finnish company that has developed the break-through solution called Mbody, which is measuring EMG data in compressive clothing, in real-time and/or recording mode. Myontec was founded in 2008 by several senior profiles, each with 15 to 25 years of experience in sports, global healthcare and mobile technology. The company has been created as a spin-off of Mega Electronics Ltd and in co-operation with researchers on ergonomics at the University of Kuopio and sports science at the University of Jyväskylä, who were already working on the subject since 2002.
